FAQs

How long does it take to edit my work?

Projects less than 50 pages long are completed in just 2-3 business days. For longer projects, if you send a few sample pages and the length of the document, we will detail the time required for editing in our quotation. However should you have a tight deadline, a QUICK Service is offered and we can quote accordingly. We pride ourselves on never missing a deadline.

What type of documents do you edit?

Articles, papers for publication, annual reports, dissertations, theses, books, websites and brochures; essentially any written material you need to have edited.

Do you offer any guarantees?

If there is anything about our work with which you are not 100% satisfied, we will correct it at no additional charge.

Will my information remain confidential?

Editlab.net keeps all client information completely confidential and secure. All documents reviewed, remain the intellectual property of the original author.

In what format do I get my edited work returned?

You get your work back in Microsoft Word with both ‘tracked changes’ and ‘changes accepted’ so you can immediately read the final document. Thereafter you can accept or reject the changes as you see fit.

 How does payment work?

On acceptance of our quotation we send you an invoice for 50% of the fee and on completion of editing we send an invoice for the final 50%.

Will you check references in my work?

When quoting we will ask you if you require us to check your references and will do so should you specifically request we do. We check references in your paper are in your list of references; and references in the list are in your work.
